I'm New Give

We Want Jesus to be Your Kids’ Superhero!

We love kids and are committed to helping them become a lifetime dynamic duo with the Holy Spirit through fun, interactive, relevant bible lessons. No matter what age your child is and regardless of their special needs, First Alliance is the place for you and your family.

Children’s Church and Sunday School Curriculum: Generations of Grace

Each class studies the same lesson designed for different age groups; studying the same lesson allows for you to talk as a family about one bible story on the way home from church. We study the bible through storytelling, scripture reading, crafts, skits and games. Children of all ages are encouraged and helped by their teachers to memorize a monthly bible verse with lots of praise and rewards given for success.

We provide excellent care in a loving environment for all of our children.  All of our volunteers are trained in childcare and are required to pass a security clearance.  In addition, all rooms are monitored with 24 hour video surveillance.  Due to security measures, we will not release your child to someone other than the person who drops them off at check-in.

Every Sunday a clean, safe, and friendly environment welcomes the babies and toddlers! The infant nursery serves 0-2 yrs and the toddler nursery up to 4 yrs. There are also various toddler and preschool Bible classes.

Sunday School 9:15-10:15am

Children learn God’s word through hearing, memorizing and interacting with Bible stories.  We have classes for:

2 Year Olds
3-5 Year Olds
1st Grade – 3rd Grade
4th – 5th Grade

Sunday Children’s Church

We like to have families worship together!  However, at the same time, we recognize the value of giving them their own unique worship experience too.

Children’s Church is a great place for our younger children to learn from the Bible while having fun through stories, games, crafts and music.  All children start the Sunday worship service in the main sanctuary with their families.

Children 4 years old – 3rd grade are then dismissed during the main service to join their own unique interactive Children’s Church.

Children grades 4th – 5th remain in the main service with their families.  We ask that they pick up a Children’s Sunday Service Worksheet designed to help them listen to, understand, takes notes and jot down questions for the senior pastor while listening to the sermon.  We feel it is important to include our older children in our adult service so that they may begin worshiping and learning God’s word together with their families and their church community.  At the end of the service we ask that they turn their worksheets in for a prize!

“Train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” ~ Proverbs 22:6
